MBL Science Journalism Fellowship/Biomedical

I began my career as a reporter at Connecticut’s Stamford Advocate, and later started covering science for LiveScience.com. I freelanced briefly afterward, before going to work in the communications office at The Rockefeller University. In 2017, I returned to freelancing. You’ll see much of my recent work, plus a few older stories, on this site.

Whenever possible, I look for ways to bring in fresh voices, especially those affected by research. And, as a visual person, I enjoy looking for ways to augment text with imagery or graphics.

To read my clients' recommendations, visit me on LinkedIn. You can find samples of my work for healthcare and biotech clients on my Contently profile
